How to build a Shopify dashboard in Notion that actually saves time

Stop tracking data you never use. Here's how to build a lean dashboard that surfaces only what matters.

Most Shopify dashboards are data dumps. They show you everything — then you spend 10 minutes figuring out what to do. A good dashboard shows you one thing: the next decision.

Start with your weekly review. What three numbers do you actually check? For us, it's: units sold, top SKU by revenue, and low-stock items. Everything else is noise. Build a Notion database that pulls from your Shopify CSV export (or use a tool like Sync2Notion). Create a board view grouped by stock status, and a table sorted by revenue.

Add a formula property to flag items with less than 7 days of stock at current sales velocity. That's it. No charts. No labels. You'll know in 30 seconds what needs your attention.
