How to set up a Shopify order tracker in Notion

Stop switching tabs. Here’s a simple Notion database that mirrors your Shopify orders for quick reference.

If you're like me, you spend too much time clicking between Shopify orders and a notes app. A dedicated order tracker in Notion can consolidate everything: customer name, items, status, and notes.

Start with a database. Create columns for Order ID (text), Customer (text), Items (rollup from a products database), Status (select: Pending, Shipped, Delivered), and Notes (rich text). Use a linked database view on a dashboard page so you can filter by status.

The real time-saver is automation. Use Notion's button property to change status with one click. Or connect via Zapier: when a Shopify order is created, it auto-populates a new row. No manual entry.

This setup takes 15 minutes and saves you from digging through Shopify's order list every time a customer asks "where's my package?"
